Are you ready to live the dream?
THE RULES!
Before you continue any further, please, make sure you read the rules and understand them.
Here we go!
BASICS & REGISTRATION
1) Use correct spelling and grammar at all times. We all make mistakes, but we trust you will try your best. And please, no godmodding or powerplaying. No idea what that is? Visit our FAQs, there's a nice little explanation.
2) We have a zero tolerance policy for OOC drama. Be kind to each other. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. No backstabbing, no excluding anyone, no bullying. Respect other members and staff. If we find a member that is causing these issues, they will get a warning before being banned from the site and all their characters will be immediately available to be taken again.
3) When creating a character's account, please register with your character's name (firstlast) in all lower case letters, ex. bradpitt, jenniferaniston, junoguilliards. You have to make a new account for each new character. Don't worry, though. At the bottom of the site, to your right, you will find the little option panel that will let you enter the easy login page. There, you'll find an option that says "create a new account on this forum". And please. make sure to fill out all of the required profile information.
APPLYING FOR A CHARACTER
3) Follow the application guidelines by copying the code and posting your application. In the title, please add whether it's [COMPLETE] or [IN PROCESS]. Your application can stay incomplete for 7 days before it will be archived and the character will be immediately available again. Make sure all of your current characters are active before you create a new one. The OoC posts don't count, so don't try to fool us. You must wait a week between creating characters.
4) When posting the application, make sure you follow these simple rules:
Title of the thread --> Character's last name, Character's name, Character's middle name. [Status]
Description of the thread --> -Group-Gender-Faceclaim-
Example, in case of canon character:
Title: Aniston, Jennifer Joanna. [COMPLETE]
Description: -Actor/Canon-Female-Herself-
Example, in case of original character:
Title: Julles, Hillary Ann. [IN PROCESS]
Description: -Press/OC-Female-Ashley Benson-
5) When creating ORIGINAL CHARACTERS, such as agents, press, friends of the actors, writers, or anything else, make sure they are well developed. Otherwise, they won't be accepted.
6) If you don't know the exact life story of an actor or an actress, don't worry, this is a roleplay group. As long as you keep in real (like, don't make them be born out of pixie dust with the power of destroying humanity, for example), you can make their own story. The includes love affairs, children and things like that. But, however, please RESPECT the real person you're portraying. Even if this site is merely for fun, we're portraying real people so it's a must that we respect them.
7) Please, keep in mind that you can only have SIX characters maximum per member. If you feel the inmense need of having more characters and you think you can handle being active on all of them, PM the staff and we will review the situation based on the participation. Also, please keep in mind that we would like to see all of our characters posting here once a week. If it doesn't happen, that's alright, but please let us know with an absence post here.
8) It is NOT possible that two faceclaims repeat. (Ex. Nina Dobrev as a character and a reporter with the exact same face.) To prevent this from happening, check out which faceclaims have been taken already and reserve one for your character here.
POSTING
9) Try to make at least two good paragraphs per post. There is no word count, but be considerate and give your partner something to work with. Posts should be third-person paste-tense, but if you consider that you should post, for example, in first-person, contact an admin, explain the reason and we will review the case for you.
10) If your thread will take dark turns, such as suicide, self-harm, eating disorder, harmful behavior, ot any kind of sensitive content, we ask you to mark the thread with [TW] (trigger-warning) after the title. If the case is that the thread will turn sexual, please mark it as [M] (mature) after the title. Characters under 18 must NOT participate on these threads. If you are caught roleplaying either trigger-warning or mature content on a thread that's not properly marked, all the participants will be given a warning before being banned from the site. Same thing applies in case an underage character is caught on one of these threads.
11) Threads should be posted in by each participating player at least once a week to be considered active. If you will be gone and cannot post within a week, please post an absence message. If a member doesn't post within a week and there's no warning or absence post, the thread will automatically be archived.
GRAPHICS
12) Avatars should be 150x150px and for signatures, we recommend 600x250px.
13) You can request for graphics to be done for your characters here, or even set up your own graphics shop and help other members with them.
If you have any questions concerning this section, or if you think we should include something we didn't, please PM an admin and let us know.
